The current context of the business requires not individual contributions but team contributions. As per a report by Deloitte Global Human Capital Trends report eluded that 65% of work is organized around cross-functional team-based lines and 53% of executives informed that team-based work led to significant improvement in performance. Moreover, the same report informed that ideas developed by teams have a 156% appeal to customer (Goodwin, Kirby & Rezaei, 2023).
ReplyDeleteNevertheless, there is complexity with teams because of different attributes, such as skills, abilities, experiences and personality characteristics and this has unequally focused on individual skills and abilities as the primary indicators of team performance and success. Therefore, for a team to be effective, there must be psychological safety, trust and respect to drive better outcomes together than when alone (Goodwin, Kirby & Rezaei, 2023).
Therefore, I totally agree with you.
